This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and avatar (if you choose to upload one).
Profile Updates: Any additional information you choose to add to your profile.
Customer Support: If you contact us, we may collect your name, email, and the content of your communication.

When you use the Service, we automatically collect:

Usage Data: viewing history, watch duration, content unlocked, virtual coins earned/spent, and in-app actions.
Device Information: IP address, device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), language settings, and network provider.
Log Data: app crash logs, performance data, and referral source.

1.3 Information from Third-Party SDKs

We integrate the following trusted third-party SDKs to provide core features. Each SDK may collect data as described:

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., video recommendations, personalized content).
To process transactions (subscriptions, coin purchases) via Google Play Billing.
To authenticate your account and ensure security.
To analyze usage trends and optimize app performance (via Firebase Analytics).
To display personalized or contextual advertisements (via Google Ads). You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
To send you service-related communications (e.g., updates, security alerts) – not marketing unless you opt in.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. Sharing of Your Information

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only in the following limited cases:

With Service Providers: third-party SDKs listed above, strictly for the purposes described.
For Legal Reasons: if required by law, court order, or government authority.
To Protect Rights: if necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.
Business Transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred – we will notify you beforehand.

4. Data Security and Retention

4.1 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest where feasible.
Restricted access to personal data (only authorised personnel).
Regular security reviews of our systems and third-party SDKs.

4.2 Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to:

Provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy.
Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, regulatory requirements).
Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

After you delete your account (see Section 6), we will permanently delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (e.g., transaction history for tax purposes). In such cases, we will limit the use of retained data to that legal purpose only.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party SDKs (Google Ads, Firebase) use device identifiers and similar tracking technologies to:

Remember your preferences.
Analyze app usage.
Deliver relevant advertisements.

You can reset or limit the use of the Advertising ID on your device at any time via your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Opt out of ads personalization).

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: update or correct inaccurate data.
Deletion: delete your account and associated data.
Withdraw Consent: where we rely on consent (e.g., for marketing), you can withdraw at any time.
Opt-out of Personalized Ads: adjust your device settings (see Section 5).
Data Portability: request a machine-readable copy of your data (EEA/UK only).

Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. After confirmation, your profile, viewing history, and associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days (subject to legal retention noted in Section 4.2). Please note that virtual coins and VIP access are non-refundable upon deletion.

7. Children's Privacy (Users Under 13)

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 for users in the EEA/UK, in accordance with local laws). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these age thresholds.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us. We will take steps to delete such information promptly.

For users between 13 and 18, we recommend using the Service with parental guidance.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. We ensure that appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place for such transfers, in compliance with applicable data protection laws. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., advertiser pages). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those external sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices – please review their policies separately.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

Posting a notice within the app.
Sending an email (if you have provided one) at least 7 days in advance.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when the latest changes were made. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
